The Chinese age controversy went on during the Beijing Olympics in 2008 when a lot of people suspected that a lot of the team members on the Women’s Olympic team were younger than the required age of 16 years old during the Olympic year. The Chinese team than won the gold medal at the 2000 Olympic was actually stripped of its gold earlier this year because one of the members revealed that she falsified her age during the games. This resulted in the USA earning the bronze when they had previously finished 4th.

2003 World Gymnastics Championships Montage - YouTube

2003 World Gymnastics Championships Montage - YouTube:
Here is a montage of the 2003 World Championships where the USA Women won their first World title.

:: USA Gymnastics :: U.S. women win 2011 World Championships team title ::

:: USA Gymnastics :: U.S. women win 2011 World Championships team title :::
The USA women literally just won the World Championship title over Russia and China!
Oksana Chusovitina, or Chuso as most people call her, is competing in her first World Championships in this video. Now, in 2011, she is still competing at the age of 36! She will be going for her 6th Olympics next year, which is something that never happens in the sport of gymnastics, form the men or women. She is best known for vault where she had won multiple world and olympic medals. The age controversy in women’s gymnastics is something I am interested in. This proves you don’t have to be a teenager to have success at an elite level.

Here’s the same type of thing as the previous post.
